Ambria College of Nursing was first launched in 2005 as Americare Institute offering exceptional practical nursing education in Illinois in a small private school. American changed its name to Ambria College to reflect its RN program and thus became the only small private LPN school to have successfully transitioned to an RN school. Today, Ambria offers day and evening LPN and RN programs available in full-time and part-time tracks. In 2013, the Collge received approval to offer a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
